Easy Chickpea Veggie Burgers

These burgers are so good, you need to try them!

These burgers are so quick and easy to make, not to mention they are healthy too! All you need is a few store cupboard ingredients and some veg!

You will need...

For the bulk of the burger

For flavour

Firstly, you want to grate a carrot, chop the onion, garlic and mushrooms and put them into a bowl with the oats and chickpeas.

Next, you want to add flavour. For this you can add any seasonings and herbs you want. I used Worcestershire sauce, Soy sauce, chilli powder, Paprika and ground cumin but you can use whatever you have in the cupboard. I'm never specific with amounts (which isn't brilliant considering I do GCSE Catering... Oops) I prefer to use measurements such as a sprinkle, a bit or a glug ect...

Once your burgers are full of flavour your next job is to get a potato masher and mash everything together. Or if you're more up to date with technology, considering it is 2016, then you can wizz it in a food processor until slightly broken up.

You should end up with something that looks a bit like this.

You can also add salt and pepper to season.

After, you need to form your mixture into burger sized shapes.

As you can see our mixture made 5 large burgers.

Put them onto a greased baking tray.

Then they need to go in the oven at about 180 degrees celsius for about 20 minutes flipping them over about half way through.

As you can see mine are a tiny bit burnt because I kinda forgot to flip them over (Why am I doing GCSE Catering?) but they still tasted great.

I've made these on multiple occasions for me and my parents and we love them and they are a great alternative to beef burgers as they are still filling and hearty.

If you make these burgers then please take a picture of them and send them to me on my Instagram which is Everyonesbeautiful100 or if you prefer Twitter then Tweet me @katy_newell

OOTD | Patterned Trousers and Platform Shoes

Today I thought I would show you my favourite outfit which I have been wearing non-stop recently (obviously it has been washed).
I bought these trousers from the H&M sale and I love them so much!
They are high-waisted which is super flattering and make me feel more comfortable wearing them considering I normally wouldn't wear any trouser which isn't completely tight fitting.
Personally, I think everyone should have a time-less white shirt as they are such a versatile piece. Just unbutton a few less buttons from the bottom of the shirt and tie it to create a more interesting look.

March Beauty Favourites

These are a handful of beauty products which I have been reaching for and enjoying throughout March.

Firstly, I have been using this No7 Beautifully Matte foundation and as you can see from how much I’ve used it I’ve been loving it.

It keeps my skin shine free all day without any touch-ups which is great for school and it glides onto my skin well and is easily buildable depending on how clear my skin is that day. This foundation was matched to my skin tone and I also purchased a concealer and a lipstick which was also matched to my skin. The match was perfect and the staff at the No7 counter at Boots in Oxford were very pleasant and helpful. This foundation is £14.50 which I think is a good price for the quality.

Secondly, I’ve been using this Calvin Klein lip gloss in the shade rich&famous which is a beautiful golden pink, shimmery gloss which creates a pretty, light weight colour. This gloss isn’t at all sticky and is fairly long lasting. This product also has a lovely flavour which isn’t necessary in a lip product but is quite a nice bonus. I apply this with my finger and I just push it into my lips to create a beautiful colour which is perfect for spring. This gloss is fairly cheap for such a great product.

This blush by Soap and Glory is super duper pretty. It includes a range of shades which when combined creates a lovely flush and glow to the cheeks. The shades in this blush complement a paler skin tone wonderfully but I imagine it would suit all skin tones. The packaging of this blush is sturdy and has almost a vintage style with a large mirror inside the lid which is perfect for on the go. This blush is quite hard so when you run a brush over it very minimal powder comes off but this is a very small flaw. Soap and Glory often have a 3 for 2 offer which is brilliant if you’re buying more than one product.

Another Soap and Glory product which I have been enjoying is the Supercat liquid eyeliner. When I began to get bored of a Collection liquid eyeliner I searched many blogs and reviews of other eyeliners that I could try and this one had many a good review. The product is a really intense black colour which stays on all day but unfortunately fades slightly after a few hours but it isn’t too noticeable. It glides on wonderfully without tugging and allows you to create a precise line along the upper lash line. It has a really slim nib which means you can achieve thin lines as well as thick, dramatic ones. This eyeliner is only £6 which is incredible considering the quality and performance of this product, I would highly, highly recommend.

Last but not least is the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara which I purchased after seeing most beauty bloggers/vloggers rave about. When I first started using this product I didn’t find it as amazing as I thought I would but I persisted with it considering everyone and their grandmas dog seemed to swear by it and I eventually started to love it too. The formula is quite wet which I think was what put me off the first few times I used it but as it became slightly drier I found it easier to apply. The brush is curved to fit the shape of your eye which I’ve never tried before. I use the short bristles on my bottom lashes as they give you more control of where you’re putting the product and the long bristles on my top lashes to lengthen. This mascara lengthens your lashes amazingly and also thickens them. I wouldn’t use this mascara if you want more of a natural look but you could achieve a natural look if you applied it carefully. This mascara is £7.99 which is an amazing price for such a good mascara.

Thanks very much for reading and comment down below any questions or comments you have as I would love to hear from you!

I'm Back

I am restarting this blog as I figured that it would be a lovely thing to do over this spring and summer to take my mind off the stress of school and exams. Previously with this Blog and my YouTube channel I have put too much pressure on myself to upload a certain amount of content a week which has resulted in me becoming very unmotivated and therefore not posting anything.
Additionally, I am also hoping to start my YouTube channel (Everyone's Beautiful)again which has been neglected for over 3 months and I am happy with my little cluster of subscriber so I don't want to just abandon it. Also this blog has 1,600 views which has motivated me to start again.
So, join me on this adventure and lets see where we end up.
